Girls Trip to Boston with The Revere Hotel

Blog post

You might have seen on my Instagram that Laurie, Emily, Cheralee and myself took a trip up to Boston a few weeks back. We were lucky enough to partner with the Revere Boston for the relaunch of their hotel.

If you’re heading to Boston from New York City, the train is the best way to get there. We took the AMTRAK which was surprisingly easy, and only took us around 3 hours. The Revere Hotel was a short walk from the train station in Boston.

When we arrived at the hotel, we noticed the theme in the newly decorated lobby. The hotels decor is inspired by Paul Revere (hence the name), whom I was informed was a very influential and important figure in the American Revolution. There are quirky pieces of art of Paul and a number of Edison style lamps around the hotel.

We checked into our very roomy and comfortable rooms (the hotel offers 356 of them, all of which with private balconies overlooking Boston) and immediately ordered their famous lobster rolls. Unfortunately we were too ravenous from the train journey to remember to take a picture, but they did not disappoint!

The first night we sipped on cocktails and rose as we attended the launch party in their newly renovated lobby bar, and even listed to Paul Revere himself! During the event, we were shown the best bits of the hotel, which included their large rooftop which had just reopened for the summer. Unlike New York, apparently Boston has limited rooftop options, and the Revere is only one of two available in the city! I could definitely see myself soaking up the view and the warm Massachusetts sunshine during the summer in one of their cabanas!

The next morning we went for a leisurely stroll through the Boston Commons which is right near the hotel, and then down the picturesque Newbury and Boylston Streets. I have only been to Boston once before many years ago, so it was so nice to soak up the city once again.

If you’re looking for places to eat in Boston, we had lunch at the most adorable seafood restaurant called Saltie Girl, which is right off Newbury Street. The food (and the cocktails) were absolutely delicious! For dinner we dined at Terra, which is located in Eataly at the Prudential Centre. If you have one thing here, get the burrata. We all almost died.

We also got a short cab ride over to Cambridge to visit Harvard University, which after a few cocktails at lunch beforehand was absolutely hilarious. We were definitely living our Legally Blonde moment while we were there and picked up some tshirts in the gift shop to prove it.

I’ve included some of our favourite pictures from the hotel and our trip below. A big thank you to the Revere Hotel for hosting us!

Love the post! Always thought about Boston but never really had the motivation to go, but it looks like you had a great trip! Summer weekender could be on the cards 🙂
